Babies scare the balls out of me.

After a weekend away from the significant other, we had a rendezvous one evening. While I was gone, we had a conversation about how she needed to get more birth control. Knowing that we were meeting up after a weekend, I figured she had not gotten any. In my mind, I was comfortable waiting to perform sexual acts until the birth control was back in full force. As the night progressed, one thing led to another. I stopped before clothes started to come off to ask if she had obtained any birth control. She replied," What do you think I did all weekend, of course I got some." With that said, off to awesome land we went. The next day, I received a call in the afternoon from her saying she had seen a mutual friend at Wal-Mart. Knowing that this person worked at the pharmacy, I asked,"What were you doing at the pharmacy?" She replied," Getting what I told you I already got." How would this make you feel? As bad as I want children I could never do this to a man. WTF?

Maybe I'm really the crazy one

Maybe I'm crazy listening to some internal clock inside me saying that you have to have kids now before you can't, even though, I still have like 20 years of child bearing ahead of me. Listening to my brother and his finance(both are 21 yrs old)well mainly his finance,talk about how they aren't using birth control leaving it up to fate if they have a child. Then my sister is trying to have another child as well, so maybe once women reach a certain age they start freaking out thinking that they have to have kids now? Maybe I just feel left out because I know it is going to be a long while before I can have kids. Maybe that is why I feel I need to have kids now? Who knows maybe I'm just the crazy one.

On ramps or road blocks?

Is your man giving you road blocks or just off ramps. Example: you might be receiving road blocks if -your on again off again(break up around all major holidays or anniversary's) keeps telling you someday -if after dating for a very long period of time you still don't live together(and have not met his parents) Signs you might be taking off ramps -buying a place together(not engaged)- making a major move to a new city(not engaged)- You can talk about having children and marriage(but says his not ready right now).
So again the question is are you receiving road blocks or off ramps????

Is she crazy?

So my sister wants to have another child she has 2 sons one is 5 and the oldest is 8. Her son's have two different fathers and she is married to someone who is not the father of either, and they are currently separated. Basically she would like to have one more child since she will be turning 30 this year and of course she would like to have a girl. However, the scenario is that she would like to have a child with her youngest son's father who she was one time engaged to. But she does not want a romantic relationship with him, she would just like him to be a sperm donor. Is she crazy?

OMG

I almost forgot to tell you how I came up with the name for my blog.I originally wanted to call it something sweet like blessed nest, something to that effect however I told my boyfriend about my idea for a blog and he laughed about it and said and I quote "why don't you call it how to kill a men's sex drive" still laughing as he said this. So walla my blog title was born.

OCD!!!!

So I was reading this article about women and nesting of course! Anyway it was saying that women who are nesting can do some pretty crazy things like killing ants in their home one by one for weeks on end. Also the said women take off the knobs on their kitchen doors just to clean the SCREWS!!!! Check the link out below.
